  This place is amazing. Incredible views from windows. The bedroom was unique and wonderful! Hugo’s book has recommendations for dining and great instructions for where to park, etc. I loved in his messages/instructions that he asked if we were out of breath yet. This place is up a spiral staircase and we expected to be out of breath as it is on the top floor. BUT by the end of our stay we handled with ease. We will stay again when in Sarlat!! Absolutely the best communication, cleanliness, amenities, and CLEAR instructions.

  We loved our stay at Hugo's spacious and lovely apartment. Clean, comfortable with everything we needed, nice courtyard, quiet despite being in the center of the historic district and conveniently located. We will return!!

  Amazing location in very core of Sarlat old town. Spacious layout nicely decorated. Great little kitchen. Made a perfect hub for us to explore Sarlat and nearby villages. Be prepared though for many stairs, even a staircase from main living area to the bedroom.

  Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans l'appartement d'Alexandre. La restauration a été réalisée avec goût, en apportant une belle touche de modernité mais sans rompre avec le cachet de l'immeuble médiéval et ses spécificités architecturales. Cela vaut largement quelques efforts sur les quelques marches qui en desservent les pièces. L'équipement est complet et parfaitement fonctionnel. La fourniture des serviettes, des linges de lit (lits fait à l'arrivée) et de maison est très appréciable. Et ce qui nous a également conquis c'est l'emplacement, idéal dans le Sarlat médiéval, à quelques pas du marché et de la place de la liberté, juste à côté de zones de parkings payantes ou gratuites. Nous ne pouvons que recommander l'appartement d'Alexandre.

  Nicely modernized apartment in period building with unique architectural detail. Many steps but easily navigated spiral staircase. Excellent location in heart of the old town, restaurants and cafes just outside the entrance.

  Great location - you have a view up the whole Main Street and the bakery downstairs is our best in France after 5 weeks! We would stay here again. Car park is a plus as well and only a short walk away. The apartment feels safe and secure.
